It pains me to put this CAV-50 up for sale, but given system and life changes it's just not getting used. I'm the second owner and in 2012 took it to Conrad Johnson for servicing and their upgrade package to the C1 teflon capacitors (over $650). With limited use since then it's only just now started to open up as a definitive step higher on the audio-enjoyment scale. The integrated amp is in great condition and I find the styling absolutely classic. It will come with a quad of ElectroHarmonix EL34s as well as a quad of Svetlana Winged Cs. Also of note is that the amplifier has a passive input stage which (when I was more into the techie aspects of my gear) was a pretty cool thing.
