For sale is a superb Dared VP80 40 watt per channel integrated tube amplifier. This amp features two 6L6 (or kt88/kt120) tubes per side, 5 12ax7 input tubes, 3 switchable inputs, a subwoofer and auxiliary out, 4 and 8 ohm speaker taps and a switchable voltage transformer. The amp ships with stock 6L6 tubes, but the input tubes were all nicely upgraded by the previous owner and are very good quality vintage 12ax7 tubes. I've used the amp mostly with KT120 tubes with fantastic results. My experience (and more photos) is here: http://www.glowinthedarkaudio.com/Dared-VP80.html The one small issue: the left side wooden end cap has come loose at some point along the journey and it sits slightly askew, as pictured. I used a tiny piece of blue tack to disrcretly hold it in place. I haven't opened the amp up, but its likely a quick fix, and is at most a slight cosmetic issue. Its a gorgeous amplifier in person, but I'll rate it 7/10 to be on the safe side. Update: this has picked up a small ding in the wood just above the volume control, as pictured. This amplifier has tons of usable power and sounds very good! It's an awesome amp at twice this price! I've got too many tube amps and need to thin the field. I have the wooden volume remote, tube cage and original packaging. The amplifier weighs in at 60lbs packed. Buyer pays shipping and I'll cover the paypal fees. Price dropped to $650. Questions welcomed, thanks for looking.
