I think these amps pretty much describe themselves. In my case it was one of these amps that led me to stepping off the Linn bandwagon in the 80's - it clearly trounced both a Mission Integrated and a Creek. I used one of these to drive my first pair of Altec 19's (which came later - still running shrimpy English speakers for another year) which was again remarkable.
These are really wonderful little pieces - if you need something for your office or similar space this will be just the thing. Yes, you'll want to do a full rebuild on it - it is after all over 50 years old - but it currently works. I brought it up on a variac over several days two weeks ago and have used it a few times since then. Since it is a vintage item there are no refunds / exchanges. If you're local (I hate shipping) I'll let it go for $375. $400 includes packing material - PayPal and shipping fees are on you. Preference given to a local sale but that will be cash or trade only. Interested in trades for Phy-HP drivers / speakers, Fidelity Research 64 / 66 or other long arms, FR7 or SPU cartridges, vintage Tannoy or similar speakers, WVL or Pure Audio Project OB's, or perhaps even a good Mac Mini (need to get a digital playback system going one of these days...)
