Manley Stingray II Integrated AmplifierI’m the original owner of this great example of design and engaging sound. I have alternated use of the Manley with four other preamp/amps or integrateds over the last six years as I’ve “interviewed” equipment to keep. It has seen 100-150 hours of use. I’ve wistfully decided to scale back to a solid state integrated. The Stingray II has the original set of tubes which are still as stable as ever. It’s manual biasing is easy and fast to do and rarely necessary as settings usually do not change. There’s also an advantage of “playing” with the biasing setting to refine the sound, but sometimes at the price of tube life. I only used the setting recommended by Manley Labs. The Stingray II also can be switched to either triode setting or ultralinear setting. I’ve enjoyed this feature to match with different genres of music. Asking price includes shipping costs in the continental United States and paypal fees if used. Includes original shipping container and padding, multimeter, bias tool, remote, power cord, new batteries for remote and multimeter, and manual.
