The principal engineering goals for the Esperanto Audio ® Small-Batch S/PDIF cable “Blue” were: Minimizing signal degradation by careful attention to the limitation of internal electrical reflections; optimization of mechanical resonances; and, neutralizing the mechanical stresses that are the unavoidable by-products of any cable-fabrication process. This cable is from Blue batch No. 1 and it carries serial number 7. The customer recently upgraded his DAC to the Bricasti Limited (gold) edition and he was tickled pink at the improvement the new Black S/PDIF cable made. So I took his Blue cable back in trade. This cable is in excellent shape with all factory packaging including zip-up padded nylon stuff sack (useful for holding audio odds and ends such as speaker-terminal wrenches), the User Guide, and the proprietary burn-in CD. The Esperanto Audio ® Small-Batch S/PDIF cable “Blue” is a traditional solid-core coaxial cable design that enables excellent dynamic and frequency performance and in short a truly musical listening experience at a very reasonable price. The cable is just under five feet long; the exact length is an aspect of the design itself, and the cable is available only in that length (but within limits I can discuss special orders--I delivered one cable more than 20 feet long).
