Here we have a lovely example of MIT's top-of-the-line digital cable, the Oracle MA-X, the first and only digital cable that allows the user to individually adjust the degree of articulation. Highly recommended by Dagogo (see review link).
Purchased new about 2 years ago right here on the 'Mart, I've used this 2 meter XLR connector cable (AES/EBU) with a range of digital gear, mainly Berkeley Audio Design, and it "sings" just beautifully. On everything from jazz to rock to classical, this cable brings out the beauty of the recording.
Using the control dial (see photo) on the network box, you can fine-tune the sound to suit your system and your own preferences. I found this very helpful in achieving the optimal balance between micro-detail and overall musicality. Once I set the dial at my preferred level (see photo), I had no need to adjust it or "tinker" beyond that.
As the photos show, the cable is truly in excellent shape (I take good care of my gear). Some would describe its condition as "mint," but we audiophiles are a fussy bunch, aren't we? MIT even warrants all its cables for life, in case you're a worrier.
Reason for selling? There's only one reason: I listen mainly to vinyl these days, and as great as this cable is, it just won't fit on my turntable! :-)
Asking price is very fair (70% discount from MSRP!) and includes shipping anywhere in the good ol' U.S. of A. Low-ballers, tire-kickers, and time-wasters will be cheerfully ignored, so please don't go there. PayPal is welcome and adds the usual small fee.
Any questions, just ask. Many thanks for looking!
