--- SALE PENDING --- SALE PENDING --- SALE PENDING --- SALE PENDING ---

Up for sale is a Mad Scientist Audio Heretical Digital Cable Plus, (MSA HDC+) that's only two months old. The ONLY reason I removed the MSA HDC+ from my system is I picked up a Snake River Audio Boomslang digital cable that simply improves on everything the MSA HDC+ already does so very, very well in my system. That's right it took a $645 digital wire to replace this HDC+ digital wire!

Now guys please don't let the low cost of this MSA HDC+ digital wire fool you. This definitely doesn't sound like some inexpensive digital wire. The HDC+ differs in several ways from almost all other digital wires. It uses a carbon fiber core, with an ultra high quality silver-OCC ground wire and a passive copper foil shield. The result is a digital cable that produces a more palpable sense of realism - it's just better (IMHO) than all other digital wires costing anywhere near it's $239 selling price and many that sell for 4X to 6X it's cost!

So why does it sound better? Well because Bob Prangnell doesn't make these like every other digital cable! Every digital cable makes an attempt to be "75-ohm", whatever that actually means. There is a very good reason for this - it's written into the SPDIF standard. But the MSA HDC+ makes no such claim. In fact, it has around 37 ohms of actual resistance in the main conductor, about half of this "75 ohm" value. Most digital cables strive to be lossless, to have zero resistance - you have even maybe read about how crucial low resistance is, and that is why silver is often used.

But this MSA HDC+ digital cable at 37 ohms is not heresy for the sake of it. No, this is a different approach, and judging by the sound, MSA makes it work really well! In fact MSA has had the most amazing feedback from their HDC+ customers. The thing they hear over and over again is "I used to use a high priced cable but the HDC+ is much better and is now my reference". MSA started keeping note of the prices of the cables that HDC+ was replacing. And while MSA won't name names here, but if you contact Bob Prangnell he'll let you know. That said Bob did reveal the prices of the cables that HDC+ replaced: $2450 (!!), $1400, $900, 600 euros. $350.

I can tell you this 41" long, MSA HDC+ digital wire in my system ---Mastersound Reference 845, 40W/ch, SET, integrated amp, YBA Genesis CD-4 CDP/transport, Musical Paradise MP-D2 tubed DAC, Beauhorn Virtuoso speakers--- is extremely fast & very detailed without sounding the least bit harsh. It has great PRaT, dynamics & transient response and presents a wonderful rendition of harmonics, timbre & the "air" around the instruments & singers within a wide, deep, sound-stage. The MSA HDC+ easily competes with digital wires costing a lot more.

If you'd like to know more about the MSA HDC+ sound, please read this very informative review about the Mad Scientist Audio cable here: http://www.monoandstereo.com/2016/09/mad-scientist-audio-heretical-plus.html Guys these digital wires really can run with the big boys. Heck if you don't think they're as good as I'm saying give them to one of your kids for their audio system. They'll think you bought them some Class A digital wire and you'll only be out $100, but I honestly believe you'll be keeping them for yourself "if" you'd just give them a serious listen in your system.

Like all my sales this MSA HDC+ digital wire is being sold "as-is" with no returns. Payment is via PayPal. The total cost would be $100 for the digital wire, $4 for PayPal charges and $13.60 for shipping via Priority Mail, insured for $120 to cover your total cost of $117.60 in the off chance that parcel gets lost or destroyed during shipping.

If you have any questions please email or call me at (407) 207-4364 and ask for Tom. Better yet if you live anywhere near Orlando, FL. come over and listen to the MSA HDC+ in my system.
