For Sale: My very early model Koetsu Blackline M/C cartridge, very fine condition, .4mv, boron cantilever, aluminum body. I purchased this cartridge as a demo many years ago, well over 20 years ago. I used this cartridge for perhaps 3 years back then, before storing it. It has slept in it's wooden box up until a week ago when I decided to listen to it again. It is just as glorious in sound as it was back then. Yes, it is old, I am sure this is one of Yoshiaki's original handmade cartridges. And it is also used, however it still plays well and sounds wonderful. I purchased this cartridge as a demo for a reduced cost back then, because some of the gold beveled-edge around the bottom of the cartridge was scratched. This scratch is only superficial and very slight, and is only on the bottom edge which is not seen when mounted. It has always been there, just wanted to let you know this is the only reason why I gave it the 8 condition. This cartridge would make an excellent candidate for one of the retipping programs after you put another few hundred hours on it. I used this cartridge for 3 years, I am not sure of the total hours on it. I do know it still sounds/performs as good as it did back then. I do not have a PayPal account, so I must ask for personal check or m/o payment.
