I purchased this cartridge from my local dealer a few weeks ago, as soon as it was available. It has less than 25 hours of play time and is in like-new condition.I had been using an Ortofon 2M Black cartridge on a small turntable in my den, which was excellent, but this cartridge provided a huge improvement in detail and overall tonal balance. But... I have a Cadenza Bronze mounted on my main turntable and although this cartridge was wonderful I missed the warmth of the Cadenza so bought one for my den system. If I didn't have the Cadenza cartridge I would have been very happy with the Quintet, which I believe is the best MC cartridge I have heard for under a grand.
