SOLD!I am selling an Acurus P10 phono preamp. These are very, very good phono preamps for the money and are not often seen for sale. This is a dual mono design phono preamp, and is fully discrete; no op-amps in the signal path. The Acurus is nicely adjustable for gain and load and it will handle probably 95% of the cartridges out there, especially at the price point this unit sells for. This is the second one I have owned and I love these pieces! My only reason for selling is I am going the "balanced" route, and I had to spend about seven times more money to get something that was even close to the performance of the Acurus and that had balanced outputs. Unit is in very good shape and is rated an "8" which is probably a little conservative. I have added sound dampening material on the bottom of the top cover as well as a small section over the isolated power supply. I have the original box and manual. On my last Acurus P10 I changed out the stock caps for some larger "boutique" caps. It was a nice improvement. I used Clarity caps as I was looking for something nicer but that would not break the bank. I was going to change out the caps in this unit as well but took Chris Johnson's recommendation for larger caps seriously! I bought a pair of Intertechnik Audyn Plus caps. These are massive caps! It would a tight fit in the Acurus but these will work. If you can solder / de-solder well these would be an awesome upgrade. If you want the caps I will throw them in for a mere $30, about 50% of what they cost me and these are still brand new. Shipping will be to the lower 48 states. Buyer to cover shipping, I will absorb PP fees. I ship with a signature required upon delivery only because I have been burned a few times on issues with delivery ("I never received the package and I want my money back and I don't care what FedEx say about it being delivered" - type of thing). Sorry if that is an issue. If it is, I will ship with the signature but once FedEx says the item was delivered, it was delivered. Thanks for the understanding. Please e-mail me if you have questions! Thanks for looking...
