Joule-Electra made some of the most wonderful all tube gear... and here we have a excellent, well taken care of, single owner example. This Joule OPS-1 Phono Preamp is in excellent condition, about 7 to 8 years old and was the latest/last version of this model. A clear, but sweet and musical all tube MM/MC phono preamp for just $1,950 (it was $3,900 when new). These days you will not find this kind ALL tube two chassis (power supply and main chassis) phono preamp new for anywhere near this kind of price. Fully checked by us, all tubes in great working order with original box and manual. Cosmetic condition is mostly excellent with some wear on RCA jacks, faceplates are excellent, top cover of the main chassis has two small blemishes (hard to get a picture of they are pretty mild and hard to see). Operationally, all tubes test out fine and line stage is biased to factory specs. This is really a terrific sounding phono preamp and a great value for only $1,950 plus shipping.
