If you know LFD then you are well aware of what this is. The LE represents the best value for the money and in this price range it cannot be beaten. Please read the review by Art Dudley in Stereophile. This unit can accommodate MM and MC carts via an internal soldering adjustment. It is currently set up for MM. From the Dudley review, "And I dare say that to most audio perfectionists these days, a $1295 phono preamp is an affordable phono preamp. With that in mind, the standard LFD Phonostage LE is indeed the best I've heard of that breed." This can be had for a little over half of the original price. Conservatively rated at 8 out of 10 but almost indistinguishable from new. Original box and powercord included. Will ship for free at the asking price.
