Up for sale is a nice entry level phono stage from VTL.Rated a 7 do to age, the unit is in very good physical condition. I have had this unit for 3 1/2 years. I believe I'm the 3th owner. It's approximately 30 years old. The unit has been fully recapped (13 aluminum lytic capacitors and two Wima flim caps), replaced old RCA jacks with Vampire connectors,new impedance switch, and fully cleaned and gone over by JRS Engineering in Washington State.The work was done in April of 2015 I have and will supply invoice for the work. Tubes offered with this are RCA black plate ECC-82/12 AU-7 & Mullard/Trigon branded ECC83/12AX-7. All tube were purchased as NOS from a very reliable source who I buy most of my tubes from. I also replaced the stock fuse with a Hi-Fi Tuning fuse. Loading options include 47k ohms, 250 ohms, and 50 ohms.I have used it with high output moving coil and mm cartridges. I do not know what the spec is for low output moving coils, so I cannot offer an opinion as to suitability.

Using a very similar circuit to our PR-1 preamplifier phono stage, The TP-2 offers a reasonably priced,high performance phono amplifier for two stand alone line stages. Optimized for phono cartridges with output of .05mV or better, the TP-2 has switchable low noise metal flim resistors for matching to Moving coil or moving Magnet cartridges. Impedance selections are 50,250,& 47kOhms. Pure tube design,the TP-2 can accept signals as high as 400mV (1k) without overload.
