This large power cord combines high power handling (30 amps/conductor), good flexibility and musicality. This cord was primary designed for large power amps, power strip and sub woofers but appears to be also competent with lightweight components, making it a well-rounded and versatile power cord. The Mega Powerflex XL cord is built around a well insulated 10/3 cable (10 awg/30 amps per conductor) perfectly matched with an hospital grade Marinco 8215 power plug and a Sonarquest pure red copper (transparent) IEC. It produces a full body, yet transparent sound with an unusually large frequency range for a 10 awg cable. Bass is weighty without being fat or heavy. Treble is detailed and well extended.
