This power cord combines the cleanness and dark background of shielded power cords with the flexibility, openness and transparency of unshielded power cords. The Open Melody LH cord is handmade and partially shielded to block RFIs and EMIs while keeping the openness and transparency of unshielded power cords. It is built using highly conductive conductors (high purity OFC copper) and terminations (99.999% copper CRYO-192). To further improve the sound, it features a power plug with an aluminium shell and a direct silver-plated neutral (-) blade. The aluminum shell blocks EMIs and RFIs giving a cleaner and darker background while the direct silver-plated blade brings a more open, extended and smoother top end. With the right amount of shielding combined with the power plug with the aluminum shell, it is as clean as more shielded power cords. I would like to share with you my experience with your power cables, they arrived OK and really look good and solid. I connected them to the components and since then I can not believe my ears. I noticed immediately improvement in sound, I spent first evening just to listen to all my favourite music of different genres constantly comparing previous cables and new ones. It is amazing how good my system now sounds – and break-in period for cables is still not over, I made about 70 hours so far, but the sound is phenomenal – I would never think it can sound so good. Everything in music spectra changed, heights are much more natural especially in jazz vocals, it sounds like the musician is sitting and singing in front of me, speakers simply disappear. Sound stage on very complex classical music improved dramatically, not only from the point of view left-right, but also front-back, I can literally pinpoint the place of every musician in the room. Bass improvement is very evident on all my old rock records, bass is very fast, accurate, no boom, boom like before, it is exactly as it should be, I am just speechless.
