Both my wife and eldest son commented that the bass sounded better, that is more defined and more rhythmically alive than with my other power cables - except for the Audience 'e' powerChord. That was a little more open, its faster tonality leaning slightly upwards. The Aurora's tonality was richer and deeper. The various Gutwire cables I have gave music playback an even fuller, warmer and weightier sound but at the expense of dynamic contrasts and transient fidelity. Each had their strengths to depend on your preference.
