ACOUSTIC IMAGERY JAY-SHO line level preamplifier. This wonderful fully balanced preamplifier has no active devices in the signal path, only EXTREMELY transparent autoformers. Remote control of volume, channel balance, input selection, mute, and dim the display. The heavy, finely machined aluminum enclosure is beautiful. This has been used with a wide variety of sources and power amplifiers, all with outstanding results.Consider this to be an all out, maxxed out, tweaked and tuned version of the highly desired - and no longer available - Bent Audio Tap-X, which I owned before acquiring the Jay-Sho. The Jay-Sho takes the excellent performance of the Tap-X to a different level, resulting in sound that is higher resolution and more 3D. If you have a Tap-X, you will welcome the increase in performance. The Jay-Sho sounds better than a $30,000 Levinson No. 52 preamp! Specs:
Bandwidth ~ <10Hz - >100KHz(+/-1db)
Channel matching l-r closer than +/-0.05dB
THD ~ <0.0008%
Volume step size ~ mute (-52db) - +7db in 1db increments
Dimensions ~ 17.3 width x 12 depth x 3.5 high

6 inputs and 2 outputs, tape loop

7 dB Gain
