A growing number of experts are realizing that this vintage DAC still sounds better than most anything now available for Redbook playback.Only 350 of these DACs were made I was told. Works perfectly. Very light hazing on faceplate, which can only be seen under the direct glare of a bright flashlight. No issues otherwise. I am slowly selling all of my collection as I will be going overseas permanently and can't take it with me. I had this for sale a few months ago, but I removed the ad because the DAC was not sounding as good as it should. I shipped it off to Noble Electronics, who are the only techs experienced in EAD gear. They replaced all of the electrolytics, power switch, and 20 volt regulators. The whole affair cost me $1038. Mundorf Mlytic AG caps were used in the Power Supply. I have receipts to prove the work was done of course. Now it now sounds and works spectacularly, and I can sell it with a clear conscience. I have this DAC listed in both the Preamp and DAC listings as it works both ways.
