Here's my Great American Sound Thoebe servo-loop preamplifier up for sale. I'd used this in my system for almost two years and that's a long time to stay in my system since I frequently like to try something new. This Thoebe sounds very nice and musical and has had no issues at all. It is one of GAS's better pieces of equipment, well engineered, designed by James BonGiorno. When I bought the Thoebe it had just been cleaned, re-capped, and set to specification by a tech in California. The phono stage sound very nice, in fact it has two phono inputs. I am selling because I have five preamps and I can only use two. Not wanting to sell, but I can't keep everything. It does have some fine scratches and nicks on the faceplate and one of the knobs, yet it is still very presentable. (The bright pictures exaggerate any blemishes.) Included with the amp is a copy of the owner's manual. I do pack very well and will ship it double-boxed and insured. Usually send via FedEx Ground/Home. I accept checks, money orders, and PayPal.
