For sale is a balanced version of the Pass DIY B1 buffer preamplifier. Rated 8/10 due to DIY nature of unit. Signal boards and matched jfets purchased from PassDIY. The balanced preamp requires 2 boards. I used an internal regulated 24 VDC power supply using a 50VA torroidal transformer, mounted on a pcb board under the AMB Sigma 11 regulated power supply. It holds within .01 volt with wall mains supply from 108 to 134 volts. It is nice and quiet. No hum noted within the signal chain. Signal boards are stacked over one another. This is just a minimalistic buffer. One set of xlr inputs, one set of xlr outputs, ALPS potentiometer and a phase inversion switch on the back which has regular phase-mute-and inverted phase positions. Regular IEC connector for your favorite power cord, none is included with the sale. The preamp is housed in a 3 U Hifi 2000 chassis with a 10mm thick aluminum faceplate. There is a blue Pass LED status light on the front. If you are needing a transparent minimalistic balanced buffer with absolute phase inversion capabilities, this is for you.
