The Sonic Euphoria PLC uses auto former based attenuation. It is simply an outstanding preamp. This preamp is the unbalanced (RCA version) with four inputs (one set WBT), two outputs (one set WBT), and a tape out. This version does not have the 'half step' wired in as this lowers the sound quality. I used the switch (on right) for muting when changing albums. The PLC functions well and sounds great. I have rated it a 6 because (1) I am the second owner, (2) one screw for the case is missing, and (3) there is a scratch beside the input selector switch (see photos). I am selling because I recently purchased a balanced version of the same Somic Euphoria preamp. Asking price includes PayPal fees. I will ship to PayPal addresses in the continental US.
