Gain stage tube: WE 437A Rectifier tube: 5R4GB Tango output transformers Vintage U.S military power transformer and chokes The 2 small 9-pin sockets are unused The chassis is solid copper on wood. The sound of the WE 437A coupled with Tango output transformers is simply amazing.
This is the BEST preamp that I have ever had. I have had the following preamps that I could remember: Conrad Johnson CT-6 and CT-5
