This is a Dared SL 2000A preamp with remote control. It is Class A, single ended line stage preamp with two sets of outputs and has had excellent reviews. Rectification is provided by a 5Z4P, but it can also use a 5Y3 or GZ30. The preamp section uses 12AT7 tubes, so a huge variety of choices are available.
If you read the reviews you will find that replacement of the original Chinese tubes is suggested, as well as swapping out the original fuse. I am selling it with a vintage RCA 5Z4 rectifier and a pair of vintage, made in the USA Tung-sol 12AT7 grey plate, halo getter tubes. Also included is a CREATE AUDIO Luxury Version Nano Fuse size 5×20mm 3A, hi-fi audiophile gold fuse.But wait, there’s more. For another $60 I will include a pair of killer Sylvania 12AT7WA triple Mica D Getter vacuum tubes, and a superb Mullard GZ30 / CV2748 rectifier. Please note the first picture show the included tubes and the others show the optional tubes. Frequency Response: 10-30KHz (±0.5dB) Distortion: =0.05% Signal to noise ratio: =84dB. I have the original shipping box and will ship the tubes separately. The preamp in its original shipping package weights 9 lbs. The tube package will weight about 2 lbs. I am dropping the price to $250 with the RCA and Tung-sol tubes. Add the optional Sylvania and Mullard tubes and let’s call it $300.
