SOLDFor sale is a Déjà Vu Audio Pre Amp with line and MM Phono capabilities. This can’t be beat for it’s price. I can’t think of a single preamp I would trade it for less than $10,000 or even more. Honestly! I was told that it was voiced after the Kondo M7. The described voicing of DJV kit is dynamic, dead quiet, with perfect tone. Very clear and smooth sounding. Piano strikes are just as they should be: precise leading edge, perfect tone and a wonderful natural decay. I guess I find that it has the perfect balance of clarity and tone. The Shindo (it replaced) sounded colored in comparison- although a lot of people like that sound. Anyway, DJV gear is more neutral (like Kondo) but is still full and rich sounding. No big blemishes but like all DJV kit, it is not audio jewelry. This is bespoke handmade gear with vintage components and has corresponding "vintage nuances" like small scratches and other small blemishes. The streaks are reflections and bad photography- not scratches!. It is not a mirror finish but looks pretty good. You might be able to polish out but I chose not to as I like this look. Taking good pictures of this chassis is impossible. Tubes are vintage and look and sound good. I will not guarantee and are as is with no warranties. Consider the tubes a gift. Nothing very expensive or exotic here. I currently use this preamp and everything sounds marvelous. No power cord included. The default shipping choices in these ads are wrong- Buyer to pay actual shipping and handling costs. I require that UPS or Fed Express does the packing which is very robust and professional. It will also make the incident processing more favorable. Typical costs for their packing is around $40. Foreign buyers please inquire regarding shipping and handling fees. Trade? Sure, try me. With the DJV active Pre-amp, you could put together a world class bi-amp system for less than the cost of a pair of used Audio Note amp...with better amps! Please inquire.
