Rarely comes up for sale,Dodd Audio Tube battery powered preamp was hand build by Garry Dodd.It has a low output impedance of only 200 ohms and will therefore work with virtually all power amps.Parts quality is world class with vampire wire,cardas jacks and sonicaps bypassed with platinum sonicaps on the outputs.Condition is excellent both functional and cosmetic,except the stainless steel cover does not fit perfectly onto the chassis and need a little pushing to be screwed in and is missing 5 small screws for top cover from a total of 10 screws,it’s comes this way,please check the latest pic for more details.
This unique preamp including a nice wood remote for volume control,4 rechargeable battery,charger,manual and original double box for a safe shipping.
It have 4 inputs,2 outputs for biamping or adding a subwoofer and a smart HT bypass operating in off position,saving tubes life,please see pictures for more information.The replacement battery is available online from Amazon for 18$ x4.
