Up for sale my ARIES 2 turntable in TOP condition. Including in this auction is the plinth, frosted acrylic thick platter, external VPI motor and FREE of charge the thick rounded clear acrylic cover. Original manual is also included.
Plinth is made out of two inch thick MDF with a 1/2 inch steel plate bonded to it..... massively heavy for sure. Clean of scratches, marks, dings or any other flaws, just the normal light swirls but that's all, I'm sure you can't find a better condition Aries 2 plinth. Armbase (NO TONEARM) for VPI 9" arm is also included. Close to the armbase you can see 2 very small holes were the junction box was.
Thick platter is made out of frosted acrylic non resonant material. The platter looks great, no chips or scratches, is in top condition. Included is the original inverted bearing.
Motor is the 300 RPM motor. original Belt included (no power cord). No scratches, marks or any other flaws, looks like new.
Also free of charge as a gift, I'm included the think clear acrylic cover that you can see in the photos. Has round corners and was specially designed for this TT, fits like a globe. In the back left side there is a crack that I'm sure can be easily fixed but you can use it as it is, this is why I'm including for free.
