I am the second owner; purchased in 2004. It was lightly used in a second system until I moved and has been in climate controlled storage for two years. Recently tested, it sounds great and all functions are perfect. High-end mini systems like this are commonplace in Europe but are puzzlingly rare in the US.It’s been well cared for in a smoke-free, child-free home, conservatively rated 8/10 for age and some swirl marks on the top from normal use; otherwise it’s flawless and sounds lovely. Includes everything that came with it: original packing, manual, remote, Linn K10 speaker cables, heavyweight power cord, 4 pair of BFA speaker plugs, and AM loop and FM antennas - all in great shape. The Classik-T is a beautifully engineered unit, solid and versatile; an audio Swiss Army knife, it even includes a music/alarm/timer clock setting. Fit and finish are outstanding - it’s built like a tank with a clean minimalist design. Delivers 75 watts of solid state power into 4 ohms, with three RCA inputs, tape/sub-out and pre-out plus two pair of speaker terminals, convenient for bi-wiring or two pair of speakers. I ran it with Spendor 3/5 speakers in my bedroom and it really made them sing. The sound quality is crisp and clear with the wide dynamic range characteristic of Linn gear. It has an excellent headphone amp built in, and its compact footprint would work well as the centerpiece for a computer audio system.
