This is a vintage Marantz 2220B stereo receiver. The Marantz is in very nice shape. The wood grain metal cabinet is not dented, or discolored, and looks still very nice. The Marantz 2220B face is very good, all original knobs, and controls. All the controls were cleaned and lubed. No noise, or scratchy controls or switches. The dial lamps were all replaced. The stereo lamp works. The 2220B separates in stereo, and sound is very responsive, excellent Marantz sound! The FM works, although the signal meter wont reach the middle dial. I use an dipole antenna in the basement, so this may be what's going on, or a slight alignment, may be needed. Don't get me wrong, the signal is there, and separates, and the FM and AM sound perfect. The 2220B will take a phono, tape and aux. These are getting a bit harder to find, come check this one out, you'll like it. I am in Oak Creek Wi, 53154.Price on the Marantz 2220B is $250.00 or offer.
