This player was the rage several years ago.
I'm the original owner, and this player made me decide to sell my Oracle Delphi turntable and my vinyl.This player uses 6N3/5670 tubes for the output stage.
The remote controls the volume so it can be run directly to a amp.This feature is like having a tube preamp or tube buffer without the added interconnects and power cord. Read the reviews at Positive Review Online issues 9 and 11.
This player was put up against the Flagship $3500.00 Sony ES-777 and held its own,and in some areas the reviewers liked this player better. Some discs don't always read in this player. It's hit or miss.It may be a simple fix,I don't know.
New OEM lasers can be found on eBay. A dealer in Florida has them for $25 shipped. The remote control works just fine. It has a small dent on the metal cover.
The faceplate has a couple tiny dings.
The cover isn't like new, but it looks pretty good.
No power cord included. No original box or manual. This is a heavy and well built player.
