David Belles (Power Modules) is one
of the finest amplifier designers of the last 40 years. He gave us the
150 Hotrod and 150 reference to name just of few. Although he offered
preamps and a host of amplifiers his true forte was two channel power.
All of his amplifiers exhibited bass control few other amplifiers could
come anywhere close to. His reference pieces were all at damping
factors of 1000 plus. This little beast comes in at 500. A McIntosh is
regularly less than 100.While it may be a beast in bass control
the rest is a work of beauty with great transparency and fluid mid-range
and highs. It's smaller, half size, form factor make it great for an
