For sale I have a beautiful pair of Cabasse 40 M4 speakers. The US export model known in France as the Galion IV, these speakers are 8-ohm 4-way floorstanders with an astonishing 94 db/w efficiency. With a time-aligned staggered front baffle, these speakers sound amazing. The bass is tight but not boomy, and the highs are incredibly clear and smooth.Cosmetically these in are great shape. The cabinets do not have any scratches on them. There are 2 small holes in the back of one of the cabinets from where the previous owner had mounted a potentiometer, but this doesn't affect sound quality at all. The bass and midrange woofers were professionally refoamed last month, and the crossover was looked over as well. Brand new 5-way binding posts have also been installed.
