I'm downsizing my main system, so these large floorstanders have to go.The Elsinores are designed by Joe Rasmussen, the man behind the JLTi line of phono stages, tube amps, and digital players and long-time collaborator with the late Allen Wright of Vacuum State Electronics. They are state of the art, nearly full-range tower loudspeakers, designed to be tube-amp friendly but happy with all forms of amplification. Five driver, three way, rear-ported design; felt tweeter waveguide; external crossovers (bi-wire from amp, tri-wire to speakers); about 90db sensitive and an 8 ohm load. The cabinets are made of MDF, finished in a Walnut veneer. There are minor blemishes throughout, a 7/10 cosmetically. They are functionally perfect. I put nearly $4000 in parts and labor into this pair. Commercial speakers of this quality would cost several times more. Asking $1000. I'll include some Anticable solid-core copper jumpers for connection from the crossovers to the speakers. I have boxes, but given their size (45.5x11x15) and weight, local pickup only in the Greater Boston area (Southern NH, to be precise). You are welcome to bring your own equipment for an audition. I would also be willing to meet for delivery within (about) an hour's drive.
