These are the top of the 2-way design from Intuitive Design. This is the model that has been ranked best or top 3 at Rocky Mountain Audio Fest every year it has been shown. Condition: one of the speakers has a hairline crack on one corner that is about 2" long. On the same speaker near the bottom is a BB size chip as well as a BB size chip on the stand, created as the two bumped each other. These are purely cosmetic. An if you were to unbox both speakers and I asked you to identify them, it would take you a decent amount of time to find them and you would have to have optimal lighting to see them. The other speaker and stand are in excellent condition. There are user reviews on Audiogon. They perform better firing straight instead of towed in and when dialed in, they have a solid image in any seating position do to its ultra wide dispersion and almost ruler flat off axis frequency response. This speaker should be used with matching stands and Stillpoints. This is a speaker designed to sound incredible in a real room instead of an anechoic chamber. They use real Granite cabinets and are triangular transmission line for both woofer AND tweeter. They use proprietary caps in the xover that have no phase shift and use carbon nano tube arrays that are almost super conductive at room temperature. Dale Pitcher has always designed leading edge audio products that industry insiders lust after. He is well known by other industry designers but has kept below the radar for 30 years. We are an authorized dealer. I had been using another pair of regular Summits in the showroom as my demo pair. I just sold those, so I have taken these out of the box and are now on the floor. Gorgeous speakers, currently running them with the Bob Carver tube amps. They like power, but perform well with 150 watts and greater. They are flat down to 30 hz and then they slowly roll off. Most folks that hear them ask if the sub is also on. The Gamma Summits have nano-tube arrays in the crossovers and as such do not break up on large passages of music like most two way speakers do.
