Also, looking for relatively close buyer, I prefer not to ship these if at all possible, would be willing to drive negotiable distance to deliver, if required.With that out of the way, excellent condition original owner Larsen Model 4.2, the baby model of the 6 and 8. There are reviews out there for all models, similar family sound throughout line. Very easy to place up against wall behind them, they give a very spacious sound with surprising bass for such a small enclosure. They just make great music sonically and physically get out of the way. A speaker that is for those that do not want to be dominated by large cabinets or speakers that require to be pulled out into the room. These are very easy to listen to for long periods of time without fatigue or boredom. I have owned these for five years, I still love them, but a pair of Duevel Omnis arrived, so looking to possibly move these along if the situation is right. These can be driven by as little as 25 wpc, but prefer a bit more, an easy to drive speaker, however. I have driven them with Naim, Croft and LinnenberG amps, all right around 50 wpc. The Larsen will show what your electronics can do, and can be the basis of your system for a long time. With this sale I also include the following: A full set of SD feet, these also can be googled, they are recommended by Larsen and US distributor, they are placed between bottom of cabinet and floor, or as with mine, a set of custom professionally made bases that are sand filled and powder coated. These allow spikes or various types of floor leveling to take place, especially on carpet. The bases are tapped in five locations, 1/4-20 thread to give you options. I will include simple floor gliders, not the Soundcare Superspikes you see here in the picture. Also, I have a new, unused set of the cloth grille covers-note, these fit over the frames already on speakers, does not include extra frames. I also have a new pair of factory Scan-Speak tweeters and one Seas mid-bass driver, also brand new. The custom bases and SD feet, and drivers, new grille cloths are all around $500 in options in addition to actual speaker list price of $1995, and will keep this speaker set rolling for a long time. The condition of these speakers are excellent, as well as the accessories included in purchase price. I am being conservative on rating. No holes or tears in the grilles, no nicks, gouges in the speaker finish. If you have questions, please ask. See my feedback, you will note my willingness to deliver, within reason. Again, I prefer not to ship these, so yes, it will cut out a lot of potential buyers, I just prefer not to take the risk, and shipping will not be cheap. I do have original boxes and packing.
