For sale here is a pair Silverline Prelude Plus. These rarely come up for sale used and the only reason I’m letting them go is because of a 2nd system that never materialized for various reason. I listed these as in fair condition due to the cosmetic blemishes. Operationallu/sound wise they are perfect and quite outstanding.I got these speakers as I was looking for a “Totem Alternative” and they did not disappoint. The midrange is extremely real and present. I had them hooked to tube and solid state amps and it’s hard to say if they perform better with one or the other. Having said that the tubes was a notch above the solid state but I would write that off as my main system ( $$$) are all tubes and the solid state was an Arcam A70. The speakers totally disappear leaving you with a large and pinpoint soundstage image...you are there !!! Also, the bass is surprisingly low, extended, well defined and pitch perfect !! If you listen to Jazz, Blues, voice and classical, you are in for a treat. You didn't have to spend 10+K to get eerily live sound. They are absolute this good !! Please see review link below, the review says it all...and one of the few times a reviewer is dead on. Small foot print with black spiked outriggers makes placement easy. Based on the serial #’s and correspondence with Alan Yun of Silverline Audio these were made in 2014. They do have some cosmetic issues which are all documented in the photos. Most significant are the dust caps on one. I seeked Alan Yun’s advice on fixing this but was informed that is has no impact sonically and to leave it be. Screens included.
