These speakers are about as rare as they come! According to a former Cerwin Vega employee, they only made a few dozen pairs of these speakers. They designed them to compete in the high end market. They were successful in making a great sounding high end speaker, but they did not sell well due to size and cost.These speakers were made in Denmark and sold to the european market and the military exchanges...they were not available in the USA. This particular pair was originally owned by a C-V employee who was based in Germany to support the German market. He retired, came home and brought these with him. They sound fantastic! And they are in excellent condition! They have a 15" woofer, a midrange and two tweeters, one front firing and the other rear firing. Cosmetically, they are excellent but do a have a couple of small issues: the grill has become unglued at one corner junction that can be either re-glued or an industrial staple can be used. Not big deal! There is also a small scratch in te real wood veneer that is about a 1'4" long...again, no big deal. They are 38" tall, 20" wide and deep....weigh about 120 pounds each. I can pack them for safe travel!
