These speakers are about 3 years old and have been used primarily in a second system. The original owner made renovations plans soon after purchase, so I basically got them new. Rated 8 of 10 as a conservative assessment simply due to age.The Voigt pipe design adds a surprising amount of base and the single-driver provides an immediacy to the sound. The adjustable super tweeter on the back also allows for fine-tuning high frequency response, which I've found varies a bit with room dynamics. I'd prefer a local sale, but do have the wooden shipping crate (I'm in the Northern Virginia/DC metro area). I might also consider trades (although not for another set of floorstanding speakers).
