I stopped using this as ht and started using them as sun room system in the summer the room was open so I had music all around the outside using a 2a3 amp and a class a ss amp ,you do need an electronic crossover as well as a sub plate amp I used a bash 300 w
The a 7 has no woofer but has the 511b with 902 and a altec crossover
These are super efficient and super sounding recreating almost live sound,they rarely come up for sale and was used by Amc theaters till a few years ago so you probably heard the sound if you went to the movies over the last 10 years ,these were leased to the theater and then leased to Asian theaters so a bit hard to come by
Mine have lots of rash by moving and one horn has the corners a bit chipped,but looks ok and no cracks or sound issues,it fell in the truck while moving ,easy to paint,the foam is also looking a bit sad in places
