Both bass panels and tweeters have been tested and are working without any issues. No buzzing in the bass panels at any volume. This is the newer model with the sleeker trim in black oak. The trim is free of nicks or scratches. The off-white cloth is free of holes or fraying and is clean and tight with no damage. The aftermarket height-adjustable stands are from Sound Anchor and were $208 plus shipping. I no longer have the original stands, but highly recommend these. They raise the panels off the floor and align them vertically for a more transparent soundstage and better image placement. Image size and focus are also improved. Bass resolution can also be improved without affecting frequency balance or musical timbre. These sturdy stands really bring out the best in the MMG. They're currently black, but I'd be willing to spray them white before shipping if you prefer them that way. They have always been used with lots of good clean power at lower volumes, so have never been abused. I recently moved, though, and no longer have a good space in which to use them . I don't have the original boxes but am an experienced shipper who has shipped several pairs of Magnepan speakers without incident. They will be separated and completely surrounded by sheet Stryofoam before boxing for shipment. Shipping these is actually less expensive than you would imagine (generally in the $35 range). Buyer pays actual shipping plus $20 for materials. The stands would need to be shipped separately so I'd be willing to discuss omitting them from the sale at a $50 discount should you not want them. Please feel free to ask any questions not addressed in the listing and I'll respond within 24 hours.
