For Sale: 1 pair of rebuilt Quad ESL 57. Rebuilt by Quads Unlimited sometime around 2011. Used on and off since. Serial #s 15628 and 15634 (see photos)
Both speakers were inspected in May of 2019 by SDS Audio (one bass panel replaced).One power light indicator is out.
Pictured on vintage 1990's British made stands that elevate them 11". Stands are loaded with lead shot so shipping would be difficult. I do have the standard feet and they will be included. Upgraded power cords as well.
I have cartons as supplied by QUAD USA back in 1995. The QUAD ESL 57 has a well earned reputation as a gold standard in mid range reproduction.
I have had these since 1995. They have not been over driven (I have used both tube and solid state amps in the 10 to 25 watt range)
