For sale are a pair of very rare Coral 8CX-30 2 way drivers. I bought these new in the box a few months ago, but they were originally purchased in 1971 (sales receipt included). They were still in their plastic bags, never opened by the original owner, so a bit of a time capsule. I’ve used them in open baffle speakers for perhaps 150 hours and they worked great in that application, although the factory recommendation is a ported box. These sound great, are nicely efficient and work flawlessly; no buzzing or issues of any kind. There is not much info out there about these speakers. Like all Coral stuff from this period the build quality is superb. Badges, screws, original boxes and marketing/spec sheets included. Thanks for looking and questions welcomed.
