Pair of JBL 2440 horn drivers, grey body, alnico magnets, 16-ohm, never been opened, original diaphragms, in truly great condition. Although the wax seals are no longer present, they melted over the screws so you can still see the red on the screws, and they've never been opened. This pair was supposedly hand-selected off the Northridge JBL production line back in the day b/c they were closely matched, and have only been used in a pair of home studio monitors mounted to Westlake Audio walnut horns (which have been sold). As proof, note the CLOSE SERIAL NUMBERS: 6331 and 6309! $1000/pr. Extremely rare to find all-original 2440 drivers in this condition with close serial numbers!Local sale greatly preferred due to size and weight.
