I have a pair of custom made line source speakers. I have just installed a pair of Eminence PXB2 - 2K5CX crossovers so no active crossover is needed. They are ready to play with your receiver or amp. See new photos. They are based on SLS LS6593 cabinet design. The cabinets are made from old growth black walnut that was milled in 1948 by American Drew in Wilkesboro, NC. These cabinets are assembled with no externally visible fasteners using precision hardwood biscuits and polyurethane glue. They were finished with 18 layers of hand rubbed teak oil varnish. They are sealed cabinets, lined with bituminous tar paper bonded to the internal surfaces and stuffed with fiberglass fill. Each cabinet array contains (4) EMT AS-6W 6.5" mid woofers (80hz - 2.5khz) and (5) Dayton PT12C Ribbon Tweeters. (2.4khz - 20khz) These are the tweeters used in the Sunfire Theater speakers and other Bob Carver products. They sound fantastic. Stands are included.
