The Eficion F300M speakers are a 3-way satellite and pedestal speaker that I have used for the better part of 3 years as my reference.
These 3-way speakers are designed where most of the work is done by a large air motion transformer driver from 1300HZ on up to beyond 25khz. It is complemented in the extreme high frequencies by a rear-firing aluminum ribbon super-tweeter. At the lower end, the Air Motion Transformer is blended to an ultrafast carbon fibre bass/midrange unit. These speakers are designed in the US by Eficion and manufactured in China my famed driver and speaker manufacturer, Aurum Cantus. The F300M speaker is the second best in the line and is fully upgradable to the full F300 System by simply purchasing the F300S woofer units directly from Eficion. I currently have the top-of-the line Eficion F300's in my main system and they are impressive enough to have actually replaced my full range Martin Logan CLS2z electrostatics. I like them so much I decided to get a full home theatre set of the F300M's for my TV system. This was kind of a financial overkill, so I am now selling a pair of them in Black Lacquer complete with matching pedestals. They are in like new condition. These are the same pair that were used in the review on dagogo.com earlier this year. I have had them for about a year. The black lacquer finish is impeccable on both speakers and matching pedestals. The F300M's have superb lifelike sound and have incredible detail and imaging wihtout being at all bright. Their top-to-bottom consistency is every bit as good as any full range electrostatic and their midrange is melt-in-your-chair seduction. In fact, two different people that have heard these in my house have since gone and purchased a set for their main systems. This ad for a pair of black lacquer F300M's with the black lacquer pedestals. I have the original factory packaging and they are in perfect condition for safe shipping. I would prefer a local sale if at all possible, but will also ship as long as the buyer bears the cost of shipping. I will also will consider selling a third black lacquer F300M with center channel stand (the full home theater style L-C-R set-up). The full set-up would be $7,500. The retail is $15,000.
