Power. 1Watt peak is too loud for conversation at ten feet (3m) on all models, except original Rio at 4W; All models max 120W peak (amplifier's 8-Ohm output) on dynamic recordings; 80W peak on compressed rock recordings. Response. In-room, flat +/- 1.5dB 50Hz to 20kHz; Useful response to below 45Hz. Distortion. <0.5% harmonic 100Hz-24kHz, <1% intermodulation, both at 98dB at 1m (I.M.D. is for any two frequencies separated by a 10:1 ratio). Phase shift. +/- two degrees from 50Hz to 12kHz, acoustically for all models, except original Rio +/- two degrees from 300Hz to 12kHz. Does not vary with loudness. Time Delays. However, models with XTC™ sound 95dB efficient on music, because it maximizes musical peaks. All models are Dynamically Linear within 0.5dB to above 100dB. Max SPL.
