This is the BE model, not an ungraded Dulcet model and they are an improvement over the regular Dulcet's. The cabinets are premium finished and include 15 layers of black gloss lacquer. They are very solid, well braced and inert. I paid an up-charge for the cabinets. They look a lot better than the standard Nextel finish and are well worth it. I am the original owner.Easy load for a tube amp. I have driven these with a 20W Raven Nighthawk tube integrated and also an Accuphase E560 SS integrated with excellent results. How do they sound? Compared with the Harbeth P3ESR, (SE), which I owned for three years previous,
the Dulcets are more dynamic, go lower in the bass and are easier to drive. You will notice the better dynamics on any type of percussion or rock music. The treble on the Dulcet is slightly more articulate, with more air and space, without a hint of hardness. It is an excellent tweeter.
