I have for sale my very rare Reference 3a Master Control MMC stand mount speakers. These are progenitor of the famous Royal Master and Royal Virtuoso speakers. They are the expensive version of the MM De Capo. Mine have been further upgraded with the new Be tweeter from Reference 3a. I can also provide the original tweeters but the new Be tweeters are superior in every way.THere is no crossover on the main carbon fiber driver and only a single very high quality capacitor on the tweeter. This speaker was hand built by the designer, Daniel Dehay, himself and was limited to only about 100 pairs made. The sound is very open and transparent and without apparent coloration. i have not heard a small speaker yet that betters it, although I admit I have not heard the Raidho D1 but I do prefer it to what i have heard from a Magico Mini, for example. The price also includes a nice pair of heavy sand filled, 4 post speaker stands and the original tweeters. The physical condition is good but there are some small scratches here and there. THe grilles are not torn but a bit frayed in places so I give the speakers a 7 rating. Here is a chance to own one of the absolute best hifi monitors ever made. They are truly excellent speakers and I am only selling because i have been bitten by the horn bug and want horns in my downstairs as well as my upstairs systems. I will deliver them anywhere in central Europe or box them extra rugged for other locations. Buyer pays shipping though. I will subtract $200 from the selling price if the buyer doesn't want the stands.3 I will send high res photos upon request.
