An amazing pair of custom Salk Ellis 1801b speakers. These speakers are the result of a collaboration between Jim Salk, IMO the best speaker cabinet maker in the business, and speaker designers David Ellis and Dennis Murphy. The veneer finish on these speakers is just beautiful - the pictures do not do them justice. These are include several custom upgrades: the speakers were built as sealed units, which provides much tighter bass response and makes the speakers much easier to place in a small or medium-sized room. Also, the gorgeous veneer was an expensive upgrade over the stock finish. These units are setup for bi-wire (or bi-amp, if you prefer). The speakers are in like-new condition; no dings dents or scratches. And they sound even better than they look! Description: The woofer is the Seas W18 magnesium driver from their Excel performance line.
