Sweet set of Transmission Audio M1i in Maple finish.Bought them from a dealer as his demo pair.One ribbon was chewed up a bit *see photo*.He assured me that they sounded fine and he was correct.Appoximately six months later the ribbon packed in so I looked into replacement or repair.Well I found this here on this site http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=24125.0.Worked a treat,so good in fact that I compared it to the other good tweeter over the next month or so and did not hear a difference.Then decided to replace the ribbons on that one as well to have a matched pair.Now I have no way of measuring anything except my ears.To me they are just as enjoyable as the first time I heard them.Really, the ribbon repair was fairly easy and did the trick.So these speakers still look very presentable and most importantly sound great!.Includes grills,stuck on base felt pads and original boxes. These are 7/10 on A'gon scale.One grill has a few corner tears and a broken fastener. *First photo is chewed up original ribbon.Second and third photos are both speakers repaired ribbons* I have enjoyed them in and out of the system for a couple of years.With 4 sets of speakers I tend to rotate.Since I retired last year I need to downsize everything.Being in a small condo now with my only spare bedroom serving as storage for audio and bikes it is time to cull the herd and reclaim the room.
