FOR SALE: pair of upgraded GR Research X-LS Encore bookshelf speakers. 2-way, with port. i bought these about 3 years ago. the woofer is 6" diameter. cabinets are 8.5"wide x 12" tall x 13" deep. ported in rear.here is what the AA seller that i bought these from said: "These are custom X-LS Encores built by an ace speaker builder who simply overbuilt them to find out just how far he could take the XL-S Encores using superior crossover parts, platinum bypass caps, no rez and more. BTW, a version of this speaker [NOT as maxed out] won a small speaker shootout held a few years ago for "Best monitor under $1,000." CONDITION: very nice working and physical condition. see photos. the satin black is hard to photograph. it looks solid black in person, with a few small nicks.
